Apply to St. George’s

Thank you for considering St. George’s School of Montreal for your child's education. Choosing a school is an important decision and we are looking forward to getting to know your family and helping you learn more about St. George’s through the process.

Access to English schooling is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec which stipulate that all students who attend government-subsidized English schools in Quebec require an English eligibility certificate. For more information on the criteria for English eligibility, please see the MEES website.

At St. George’s, the eligibility certificate is only required for students in Grades 7 through 11. Students in Grades K through 6 do not require an eligibility certificate to apply.

PLEASE NOTE: International students applying to Grades 7-11 are exempt from this requirement during the application process. St. George’s will assist your family in applying for an English eligibility certificate upon receipt of a valid CAQ and Study Permit.
