In Celebration of Black History Month, our Elementary School hosted the multi-talented Omari Newton, award-winning actor, writer, and TED Talk speaker. His work with Overture with the Arts addresses vital issues like Anti-Racism and Anti-Bullying. Omari’s presence was electric as he shared his wisdom and experiences with our students, as well as spoke about Black Women in history across Canada, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
