Located in Montreal, St. George’s High School is a co-educational day school with approximately 270 students from Grades 7-11. St. George’s School strives to establish a diverse community of learners while maintaining a sense of academic excellence and gender balance. St. George’s School believes that international students enrich the learning community for all students. The international students that join St. George’s School will be part of the International Student Achievement Program (ISAP). This program allows the students to be part of a special induction to our school and community. We have welcomed students from the USA, Korea, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Spain, Laos, Norway, Czech Republic, France, Mexico, Germany, Japan, Dominican Republic, and Denmark. Each student’s program will be tailored to their particular needs. Their individual progress will be closely monitored through the St. George’s School of Montreal’s Centre for Learning Enrichment (CLE). The school offers English Second Language instruction as well as French Tutorial Lessons for our International Students. The school prides itself on upholding an educational philosophy based on its founding principles established in 1930. These principles encompass the beliefs that learning should come from doing, that education should be adapted to the individual’s needs, that education should allow for creative expression and that social-mindedness should be developed.
