Requirements for Graduation St. George’s School of Montreal (High School) is recognized as a grant-receiving institution by the Quebec Ministry of Education. Thus, St. George’s School offers a program of study consistent with the criteria established by the Régime Pédagogique ultimately resulting in the awarding of the Ministry’s Secondary School Diploma to students who successfully meet its requirements. However, a large number of our students earn substantially more credits than required, accumulated over a period of 5 years from Cycle 1, Year 1 to Cycle II, Year 3. Concurrently, St. George’s School awards its own graduation diploma to students who successfully fulfill the Ministry requirements and who have successfully completed a minimum of 6 full courses in each of Cycle II, Years 2 & 3, according to the school’s own internal standards.
